Economical Transport with the Nissan Versa Note

For daily commutes or long-distance travel, the ideal vehicle is not necessarily a sports car with a heavy-duty engine or a luxury sedan with a hefty price tag. You’ll want safety, efficiency, and comfort for your trip, and you’ll find it in the 2016 Nissan Versa Note. While it lacks in sheer thrills, it’s more than capable of getting you and your friends or coworkers where you need to be, and at a price that’s hard to beat.

The main appeal is the comfortable, room interior. The back seat provides plenty of room for passengers, and the Versa Note could easily carry four adults with no fuss, which most compact cars can’t boast. The hatchback model means plenty of cargo space too, perfect for a road trip or everyday errands alike, and there are options for improving the storage space further.

The MSRP is practically a steal, starting new at $18,972, and though the basic model sacrifices quite a bit of luxury, additional options won’t break the bank anytime soon. On top of that, the fuel economy is more than sufficient – 7.58 L/100km in the city and 5.88 L/100km on the highway.

At about $26,600 MSRP for a new Versa Note, the SL package steps up both the appearance and the functionality of the Versa Note. Chrome trim, alloy wheels, and fog lights give the exterior – already stylish compared to similar compacts – a distinctive facelift, and the extra tech includes navigation, an appealing audio system, and an around-view monitor that offers extra confidence when driving or parking.

At Milton Nissan, we strive to make finding a new or used car easy and financially feasible; our team is here to help you find the options you need with the financing that makes them possible. If you need an affordable compact car, whether as a commuter or a traveler, the 2016 Nissan Versa Note can be what you need, and we can make it happen for you.

The 2017 Nissan Juke sport utility crossover is far from ordinary. You’re likely to see an unprecedented color selection due to the Nissan program that allows you to mix and match paints. The body styling is also quite distinctive. Beyond appearances, you’ll find good acceleration compared to other crossovers. The juke also has an all-wheel drive system that beats a lot of the competition. This combined with nimble handling makes the Juke a fun car to drive both on and off road.

Come on down and let us help you work out an upkeep regimen that keeps you on the road longer and helps you avoid unnecessary and costly repairs.

The Most Desirable Qualities of a Luxury Sports Car

A sports car driver is not an average driver. Fuel efficiency and cargo room aren’t the top priorities, and practicality isn’t part of the vernacular. A person looking to buy a luxury sports car is looking for an experience, a product tailored to connect the person to the machine. A luxury sports car should have power and agility, the best in sound and technology and top-of-the-line safety features. It should protect the adventurer while enabling the adventure.

A top quality sports car is designed with power and handling in mind. Agility isn’t impressive unless there’s power behind it, and power is pointless if it can’t be directed. The best luxury sports cars should be produced with thoughtful aerodynamics, with exterior design elements that are beautiful and reduce drag, like the 2017 Nissan 370Z. When the driver moves, the car should respond without hesitation. The center of gravity should be low, providing an eye line and feel for the driver that’s focused and close to the road.

A luxury sports car should aim for an interior experience to rival the exterior. It should integrate a driver’s personal technology preferences and foresee driving conditions such as traffic and weather forecasts. Premium audio speakers and digital display are often included, and many come with noise cancellation and sound enhancement technologies that dull unwanted sound while amplifying the intended. There should be multiple input methods to allow seamless device integration and charging.

The highest quality sports cars should come complete with advanced safety packages so drivers won’t have to measure risk versus reward. When driving with that kind of power, it’s important for your car to have advanced tire, brake and engine monitoring systems. Supplemental airbags and Active Head Restraints can help take a sports car to an even higher safety level.

At Milton Nissan, we know what you’re looking for in a luxury sports car. We know you’re looking for an experience like no other. Let us help make it happen.

The Versa Note Is a Great Economy Car

Are you tired of paying a fortune to fill up your gas-guzzling automobile?  If so, now might be the time to switch to a car that gets great gas mileage without sacrificing a comfortable ride. The 2016 Nissan Versa Note is such a vehicle. Here are three reasons you should consider test driving this car.

Fuel Economy

The biggest advantage to driving the Versa Note is its exceptional fuel economy. Whether you are looking to help save the planet or just save some cash, this car will help you accomplish your goal. The Versa Note’s 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine delivers 109 horsepower that will earn you an EPA-estimated forty miles to the gallon. That puts the Versa Note at about the top of the pile when it comes to fuel economy, guaranteeing that you will save a tremendous amount of money.

Just because you purchase a car that gets great gas mileage does not mean you must sacrifice style. With a unique hatchback design, sleek lines, and sporty stance, this car stands out even among larger cars. With many available trim options, the interior features a touchscreen that brings a technological look to the cab.

For a compact car, the Versa Note delivers a spacious cabin that will surprise many buyers. With its hatchback design, this car offers considerable headroom even for tall passengers. Those in the front notice the size of the cabin as well. That is particularly true with side-to-side space beating that of its competitors. For storage, the Versa Note gets the job done. With more than 18 cubic feet behind the rear seats, drivers find ample space to store bags for a long trip. When you fold down the seats, that space increases to nearly 35 cubic feet.

For those looking for an economic vehicle that has style and space, the 2016 Nissan Versa Note is tough to beat. Milton Nissan has a large selection of these Nissans.

The revised 2017 Nissan Rogue stars in a new promotional campaign in support of the upcoming film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. There will be TV ads, as well as social and experiential content.

Launching on October 31st, the “Battle Tested” TV campaign includes one 30-second commercial and a full 60-second version for theatres. It shows a fictional Nissan test facility where engineers put vehicles through a series of routine safety tests and driving obstacles. The 2017 Nissan Rogue and its driver are surrounded by Star Wars-themed simulations in the midst of an epic battle with stormtroopers, rebel fighters, and otherworldly debris.

The spot highlights the comprehensive suite of Intelligent Safety Shield technologies available on the 2017 Nissan Rogue, including Intuitive All-Wheel Drive and the Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection system.

“Showcasing Nissan’s advanced driver assistance systems in a simulated Star Wars environment raises awareness for the robust technology offering on the newly refreshed Nissan Rogue in a very different way,” said Jeremy Tucker, vice president of Marketing Communications & Media at Nissan North America. “The message pairs Nissan’s brand-DNA of driving excitement with relevant product information about how our vehicles are engineered to help our customers safely take on whatever out-of-this-world obstacles that they may encounter.”

Nissan also debuted today a numbered, limited-edition, full-sized-replica Death Trooper helmet that comes with purchase of the previously announced 2017 Nissan Rogue: Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition vehicle.

Nissan Canada Foundation Confirms Sponsorship of Habitat for Humanity’s 2017 Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project in Canada

Today, the Nissan Canada Foundation announced it will deepen its relationship with Habitat for Humanity Canada as the Nissan Canada Foundation confirms its support as an official sponsor of the 2017 Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project, to be held in Canada in 2017. Nissan – through the Nissan Canada Foundation – will provide volunteer support and sponsorship at the “Silver” level, marking 10 years of partnership with Habitat for Humanity in Canada.

For more than 30 years, the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project has helped Habitat for Humanity improve and build homes in the United States and worldwide. It helps raise awareness of the critical need for decent and affordable housing, attracting volunteers from around the world. This internationally recognized Habitat event will be returning to Canada in 2017, in celebration of Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation. It was last in Canada in 1993, and in order to mark this national milestone, Habitat for Humanity Canada, with the support of sponsors like the Nissan Canada Foundation, will be building 150 safe, decent and affordable homes for 150 families across Canada, which helps break the cycle of poverty through home ownership.

“We are absolutely thrilled that the Nissan Canada Foundation will be supporting the 2017 Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project in Canada,” says Joni Paiva, president of Nissan Canada Inc. “With Habitat, Nissan has a broader platform through which we can impact the lives of deserving families, long-term and in a meaningful way, carrying out our corporate vision to enrich people’s lives.”

The Nissan Canada Foundation is also renewing its commitment to Habitat for Humanity Halton-Mississauga, and will once again be a title home sponsor for a new project in Malton, Ontario, where a complex of town homes will be erected, starting in 2017. The Foundation will also be lending its support to Habitat for Humanity Halton-Mississauga’s new ‘Volunteer Shuttle Program’, by donating an all-new 2017 NV Passenger Van, helping them launch this brand new initiative. This new program will increase Habitat for Humanity Halton-Mississauga’s ability to build homes and hope by removing barriers for recruiting and welcoming more volunteers, something essential to Habitat’s success.

Since the partnership with the Nissan Canada Foundation began in 2008, nearly 1000 Nissan Canada Inc. and dealership staff have volunteered close to 6,000 hours of time to help build 50 homes in cities across the country, including Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Saint John and Halifax. This contribution of time is over and above the more than $1-million the Nissan Canada Foundation has donated to Habitat for Humanity Canada and its affiliates.

“Nissan is passionate about improving the quality of life in the communities that we live and operate in. As Habitat volunteers, our employees can engage directly in addressing local needs for affordable housing by making personal commitments of their time and effort on Habitat build sites,” concluded Paiva.

About the Nissan Canada Foundation
Created in 1993, the Foundation aims to deliver on Nissan’s corporate vision of enriching people’s lives, by improving the quality of life in the communities in which Nissan operates. Aligned with Nissan’s three chosen areas of focus; the environment, education and humanitarian relief, the Foundation establishes lasting partnerships ensuring its efforts lead to long-term tangible differences in people’s lives. This approach has resulted in long-standing support for The Mississauga Food Bank, a local organization, as well as a national partnership with Habitat for Humanity Canada, formed in 2008. Equally passionate about Canada’s future, the Foundation supports endowments, bursaries and in-kind donations. Today these have an estimated value of over two million dollars. The Foundation has provided financial assistance to these partners over the course of two decades, but it has also provided close to 6,000 hours of donated labour, realizing that the true value of these efforts is in the outcomes they have enabled. An understanding best achieved through personal involvement.
